sage-5.0 is probably more realistic. Thanks for the useful comments, I
hadn't seen the warnings in the documentation, this probably could be spun
out of this ticket as it is probably a problem in the existing doc - just
silent with the current python. I really would like to go to 2.7.3 when it
comes out but I'll make a stop 2.7.2. I have a heavy workload this week
but I'll try to put the spkg together. I know from sage-on-gentto that
there will be some more patching to be done unfortunately although in some
case I think that would be just a band aid. So more dependencies may
appear :(
I am surprised at the "latin-1" encoding I am defaulting to UTF-8 and even
my Changelogs now come correct everywhere.
We need someone with the know how to look at #11986.
