Would it not be simpler to just add the symbolic link? Fixing a dozen
packages somehow looks like a lot of effort when adding one symbolic link
would also fix things...
Unless of course someone is volunteering to change all the spkgs ''and''
somebody else is volunteering to review them. If we are unlucky, adding
`--libdir` could also add new issues...
