Your input on the matter is welcome. According to Florent, the problem in
suffix_trees is that there are several equivalent answers and some
platforms now give a different one than the one you originally tested for.
Note that we don't know what the trigger is for having a different answer
it is not a 32/64 bit separation as we have seen both answers on the two
kinds of systems.
