 Interestingly, Scipy and R are definitely (right now) building before
 Sage.  And they usually do not, for sure not Scipy, on my ancient older
 Mac.

 Scipy has successfully installed, as has matplotlib.  R takes forever but
 so far is fine.  Maybe it was "just a race condition"?
