system packages. You go ahead and create a ticket to upgrade matplotlib. I
say it is a show stopper because it would happen on other platforms.
Hopefully we can review it quickly.
What about just making a patch upgrade with
[https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/commit/e4a34df93f6 the
1.5-liner] rather than making a whole new package which would require even
MORE testing? Plus, then you don't have to worry about getting those four
extra colormaps :) Anyway, I feel this is easier and more reasonable just
to get this in 5.0.alpha0 (or whatever release is next for such a big spkg
change as this ticket).
