 I think the patch behaviour of

 {{{

 sage: a = [2,3]
 sage: b = [2,3,4j]
 sage: set(a) < set(b)
 True
 sage: Set(a) < Set(b)
 False

 }}}

 is too dangerous to let pass unremarked.
