I tried on several computers, and I have the same compilation error on one
of them (namely musclotte).
* Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W5580 @ 3.20GHz
* 64bits
* gcc (GCC) 4.4.3 20100127 (Red Hat 4.4.3-4)
* Sage Version 4.8, Release Date: 2012-01-20
