But that is all Macs. This seems overkill to me; why not only do this on
Lion?
Or would this eliminate having Xcode as a prerequisite to building Sage on
OS X in general (even for those for which XCode is free, though sometimes
annoying to get)? That might be a nice move. I assume this is a prebuilt
gcc like our current Fortran package?
Could the message "installing GCC because..." occur several times here?
