 This patch doesn't seem like a bad idea, but I don't know if it's actually
 useful for anything. Using the environment variable `SAGE_LOCAL` is
 supposed to make these paths portable already, so I'm not sure I
 understand the comment about the current situation being "an hindrance
 when one moves things around". Another way to say it: sage-env sets the
 `PATH` by using `SAGE_LOCAL`, so with or without this patch, if
 `SAGE_LOCAL` is right, these commands will work, while if it is wrong,
 they won't.
