Comment:

 Here comes a "reviewer" patch, quickly produced, so potentially full of
 mistakes.
 And it adds Simon's original test for polynomial stuff.

 There might still be a problem with L.stats() in coerce_dict.pyx.
 Not sure it has the same behavior depending on whether I run it alone
 "sage -t ..." or within "make ptest".
