Seriously, everybody is going to be confused by matrix vs. transpose, so
that is never a sane setting. I was confused by it when I read your patch.
Also, nobody is going to look at high-dimensional coordinate vectors all
day so I don't see how it puts any extra burden on you. In your own work
you can always override `_repr_()` if you have to see a rays-as-columns
matrix.
