For the record:
There seems to be some progress on the GCC 4.7 on ia64 issue, but assuming
that
* GCC 4.7.1 will be released in July, and
* there'll (hopefully) be some Sage 5.1 or whatever ''final'' release
before that,
I think we can leave the GCC 4.7.'''x''' (rather than 4.7.'''0''') work-
around as is here. (Same for the MPFR, GMP-ECM and some other, not yet
merged / positively reviewed tickets.)
