I am inclined to postpone this change to another ticket, unless you are
pretty certain it isn't needed. The reason I am suggesting this is, that
if we get SIGSEGVs then on some exotic platform we are not sure whether
it's the 1.3.2 update or that we dropped the {{{-DDISABLE_COMMENTATOR}}}.
Of course, we could just try to re-add it and see what happens, but given
how slow and bureaucratic Sage development is these days, this could
easily take a week to accomplish, which would be annoying. What do you
think?
