 I am afraid we're back to the root of the problem. I'll try to rebuild
 from scratch one more time, but this doesn't look good.

 This might be due to the fact that I tried to follow your instruction to
 rebase everything in SAGEROOT rather than in SAGELOCAL, i.e. in
 SAGEROOT/local/, as I did before. In particular, there were dlls in
 devel/sage/build, which are not used, and this perhaps unnecessarily
 clogged up the address space.
