It could also be a good moment to include as many gap packages as possible
in the gap_packages spkg. I made a list with the licenses of some packages
[1] and a spkg with those packages that have gpl license and i was able
to make install seamlessly [2].
It was all for 4.4.12 version, but should be easily ported to 4.5
