I added a discussion of the check parameter under INPUTS. Also added
another test, and found the source of the errors you were talking about; I
accidentally tested for a kernel of order 0 instead of a kernel of order
1. Do you think I should add some sort of example in which the false check
is chosen?
Anyway, I've added a new patch with the most recent changes.
