We decided to talk about the annotations implementation at the sail meeting today.
I haven't heard much about progress on the server side, and I still haven't done the client side "putting" code. So I don't know how much there is to talk about in that respect. But at the last meeting about Annotations, Laurel wanted to know more about how the client side worked. So at this meeting I was going to spend some time going over that and the links on this page: http://www.telscenter.org/confluence/display/PRP/2007-07-03+-+Teacher+annotations This can be divided into 4 main parts: - The annotation interfaces that were added to sail - The sail service infrastructure which is how annotations are made available to pods - The BundleLauncher infrastructure that uses XMLEncoder to setup the services using a xml file. - The EMF Annotation models and AnnotationService implementation. In order to follow along it is best if you have the EMF plugin installed in your eclipse. You can get that from the Callisto Discovery Site (Eclispe 3.2). Or Europa Discovery Site(Eclipse 3.3) In the Callisto Site it should be under the group: "Models and Model Development" I'd guess it is the same in the Europa Discovery Site. Having this plugin will allow you to see the Annotation EMF models in a slightly better way than just looking at xml or java code.
