I don't believe they released it for 10.4.

Also the 10.5 version requires a 64-bit Intel-based Mac.  It won't
installed on my MacBook Pro with Core Duo processor.

Java 6 isn't available widely enough yet to write any client side code
the requires it.  Server side should be fine though.  Even Macs that
don't support Java 6 can run a Linux virtual machine.
