Rokham- thanks for the suggestion, I am using Tiger, but that wasn't it. Apparently my Firefox preferences was set to download java web start files instead of launching them with Java Web Start. The new Firefox's preferences layout is different from Firefox 2's, so I could not find it until Geoff showed me.
For other people with the same problem: 1) In Firefox 3, open up the preferences window by going to Firefox->Preferences... 2) go to the Applications tab 3) scroll down to "Java Web Start File" in the Content File column and make sure that the Action column is set to "Use Java Web Start (default)". Mine was set to "download" for some reason. Hiroki On Tue, Jul 1, 2008 at 10:37 AM, Rokham Sadeghnezhadfard < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Hiroki, > > I just tried it and it works fine for me.
