I am working for ETA Freightstar which is a part of Dubai based ETA Star Group . We are into 16 verticals ranging from Manufacturing, trading, hospitality, real estate , Insurance,Port Handling , Education , Forwarding , etc with a turn over of $ 7 billion + . We are present in 143 countries , employing more than 70,000 people out of which more than 75% are Indians . The group is promoted by an Indian Family from Tamil Nadu . This division where I work is the Logistics division created a couple of years back to venture into the containerised rail business in the sub continent . With a 50 crore license , we are entitled to run private commercial trains across the country on the Indian Railways net work . Power ( engines ) is provided by the Railways and the rakes ( trains ) are owned by us . We have Nine such rakes now and hope to roll out additional 10 rakes within one year . This would be our Phase 1 expansion . One train has 45 wagons on which we can load 90 teus equivalent containers . We are into domestic as well as exim cargo business . We operate our rakes ( trains ) on various sectors across the country . We are also coming out with state of the art Logistic Parks in various parts out of which the first such facility is expected to kick off from Nagpur within the next 5 – 6 months . We are on the look out for :- 1. Trained / Experienced people preferably from Logistics / shipping industry to work at our upcoming terminal at Nagpur . 2. Experienced Marketing Representative ( DGM rank ) who can produce result oriented business from Mumbai region . ( To be based in Mumbai / jnpt ) 3. Experienced Marketing Representative ( Sr.Executive ) at Chennai who can bring / canvas domestic cargo business for our rakes from Chennai / southern region to Ahemedbad . Candidates we are looking for should be minimum graduates with good /exceptional skills to a carrier in Marketing & Logistics Business . They have to travel extensively in their region , hence male candidates would be preferred . The rake / train moves when the entire slots are filled - ie . 90 containers are filled with cargo , hence wholesale / bulk cargo which can be containerised is the area to be explored . Fyg, we are NOT permitted to carry loose cargo in open wagons . Salary at Western region would be around 10 lakhs CTC and southern region can be between 6 – 8 lakhs CTC depending upon the calibre of the candidates .
