Dharmakshetra & Prasanthi Updates ....9th September 2013

Ganesha's head is shaped like AUM, which is auspicious and divine. He also
taught the lesson of hard work as a scribe of sage Vyasa. "Vinayaka is known
for his high intelligence. The very sight of his figure gives joy to many. The
form itself is extraordinary. He has a big belly, a beautiful tusk. penetrating
eyes, handsome ears - all these are harmoniously balanced to produce an
attractive form. Devotees worship Vinayaka in different ways. They address the
deity, describing his white robe, his moonlike complexion, his four arms and
ever-smiling face and pray for the removal of all obstacles." Sai Baba, SS,
10/98, p. 255 & 257

The Seat Of The Divine in the hallowed Prasanthi precincts that witnessed
innumerable tales of Bond Of Love between Bhagawan and His students witnessed
yet another one last evening as ‘Sai Sannidhi’ the alumni forum of former
students employed in various Sathya Sai Institutions joined together to present
a Musical Reminiscence at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet.
The programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with an introductory speech by Dr N Siva
Kumar, Associate Professor, Dept Of Commerce, SSSIHL. Titling his speech “His
Boys…His Choice…His Voice” Dr Siva Kumar narrated a couple of his experiences
highlighting how the Mother Of Infinte Love took care of each and every
student. Dr Siva Kumar narrated how Bhagawan guided him step by step, guiding
him in his academics to get an MBA, then PhD finally helping him to enrol as a
faculty at his own almamater, Bhagawan’s Institution.Ending his short but
speech full of gratitude Dr Siva Kumar invoked Bhagawan to deliver His Divine
discourse.

A power-packed Divine discourse followed wherein Bhagawan spelt out in no
uncertain terms about the discipline to be followed in Sathya Sai Seva
Organisations. Bhagawan exhorted that discipline in the organisation has to be
followed and Sai devotees should set an ideal, be they are from India or
overseas.

What followed next turned out to be a feast for the ears, heart and soul as the
grateful students bursted open singing some of the soulful renditions
reproducing the magical days with Bhagawan, during His physical sojourn,
reminiscing Love-Infinite of Beloved Mother Sai.

Beginning with an English composition seeking Him out and out at every moment
in life – Every Moment Of My Life Please Be With Me… – , they continued for the
next 100 minutes singing an array of songs, that included some of Bhagawan’s
special numbers. The programme concluded with a scintillating Carnatic piece of
St Thyagaraja, Banduri Rama Keertanam followed by a Quawwali “Sai Bina Raha Na
Jaaye…” both Bhagawan ‘specially special’ number.

Bhajans continued and ended with Bhagawan’s Sunday Special “Hari Bhajana Bina
Sukha Santhi Nahi…” The session ended with Mangala Arathi at 1845 hrs.

prevailing over, and even as Prasanthi continued with her ‘penance’ invoking
The Lord, youth brigade from the neighbouring Himalayan Kingdom was ready with
a bouquet of devotional offerings.
Given below is an excerpt from the ‘Darshan Story’ on 8 September 2010 in
Prasanthi Nilayam as chronicled by The Prasanthi Reporter…
Let’s read..assimilate…live with it and thus manifest HIM, our Beloved Mother
Sai!
Let’s re-connect to PRASANTHI DARSHAN UPDATES to connect to THE BEAUTY BEYOND

Wed, Sep 08, 2010: Emerging at 1840 hrs., to spontaneous applause in sheer
excitement and joy, Bhagawan moved past with Vedic incantations filling the
air, joined by an enthusiastic batch of Easwaramma English Medium School
children. Completing a full round, after spending awhile with the children,
Bhagawan moved into the ladies’ side not before turning about to come on to the

mentioning about the prevailing security concern back in the country, that was
hit by political unrest. The Nepalese presentation was a musical bouquet
comprising of three programmes, twenty minutes apiece, Veda chanting, songs
vocal followed by songs instrumental.

Sarees and Safari pieces were distributed among the participants and at 2010
hrs. Bhagawan accepted Mangala Arathi. Session was to continue as Bhagawan
moved down the dais to pose with the group, gents and ladies separately.
Returning onstage, Bhagawan moved off the dais into the interview room.
