Self Awareness is Character Awareness
Spend all your time in building character................ The building
blocks of principles should be laid down firmly............... These building
blocks will guide you toward God and your very own truth.............. Self
discipline builds character........ Self discipline is the unending
conversation between the ego and the Self............. Constant interrogation
of one's ego gives one the profound answers in which truth alone
prevails............. The truth derived from within makes one aware of the
Self............... Self awareness leads to character awareness.........
One must have a strong resolve to honor the Self.............. and he
must be able to bear with ease the sudden and subtle changes of
time..................... The worldly tasks will continue.......... bringing to
its gains and losses................
But the man of character must embrace both equally, and turn in, both
times to lean on the principles of truth and his nature of
love............................ Every choice will bring with it, its
responsibility.............. and every responsibility will bring with it, its
pleasures and fears......................... but the man of character will
accept both with equal fortitude and a mature understanding..................
As goodness cannot be derived, character cannot be
achieved!................ Goodness is spontaneous and character is the
expression of that spontaneity............. The nature of the soul is "to
be"...... and goodness is the" beingness"................... Goodness is the
source of peace................ The good can accomplish any task and remain
lighthearted.............. They give themselves fully and remain detached to
the entire course of the work................. As long as they can connect with
the peace within them, they continue the task without hesitation...............
Whenever the stream of peace gets obstructed, they realize that they have in
some way strayed from goodness................ It is then that they retreat to
their Self and draw from it the wealth of the principles............. Once
again, the building blocks are laid down with a deeper resolve............. and
with that, they return to the unfinished task with a character that is refined
and rejuvenated............
