Shantha and Sri Krishnamurthy on the 4th of March 1948, according to His promise to Shanta’s father Sri Narayana Sharma of Bangalore. The ceremony was conducted in the Mandir at Puttaparthi. Baba presented jewellery to Shanta for the wedding. He materialised a Mangalasutra for the bride. He also materialised Vibhuti for everyone present. This was the first marriage performed by Baba in the Mandir.
