Brief Report: The programme started at 5 p.m with the lighting of the lamp and Veda Chanting followed by bhajans. Ms Jayanti Iyer, Mahila Coordinator, presented the Mahila Report of Mumbai. The chief guest for the evening, Ms. Karuna Sarup Munshi of Radio Sai, spoke about "The Role of Women in Home and Society". The All India President Sri Nimish Pandya in his brief speech outlined the progress and the future plans for making Dharmakshetra an International Centre. Mr Puri, a sai devotee from Holland, also spoke for a few minutes. Ms. Karuna Munshi and Mr Puri were felicitated by the organisers. The Easwaramma Scholarships were awarded to all the deserving girl candidates.
