Internet search engine giant Google has launched a mapping tool called Google Map Maker [http://maps.google.com/help/mapmaker/india/] which was conceived and developed by its Indian engineering team. It allows users to add or edit geographical features such as roads, business, parks, schools, apartment building and localities among others in the existing maps of their city.
