Daniel, Thanks so much for your story about J B Pinto and his wife "Otty". It brought back memories.
Hidden somewhere in my subsconscious, I remembered my parents friends from the 1960s. When I passed by Albert Cordeiro's house, I would have faint memories of the house we visited as kids. That was in the 1960s. It was exactly as you wrote! I even remember JB Pinto's dolls, made of coconut shells, if I recall right. Which seemed scary to us in those days. There was no way I could confirm that the book I had come across listed in the Library of Congress listings was written by that same gentleman! One never knows the kind of talent we have sitting around, perhaps not sufficiently recognised and easily forgotten!
