Dear All as convenor of the RP 2021 plan for saligao, i am pleased to announce that the RP 2021 for saligao has been revised and is now ready for public viewing and comments. new roads, forest area, heritage zones etc are some of the salient features of this new plan. from omnday onwards, a hard copy will be kept open for display to the villages from 10 am - 6 pm onwards at the communidade. this will continue till saturday. from thursday onwards, ward wise visits will start in the evening at the communidade. where ward problems will be address and clarifications made.
a small note is being kept alongside the plan. which i am enclosing below. the plan itself is avaliable as a soft copy which an be emailed to people on request only. it is a large 4.5 MB file so unless one is behind a fast internet connection pls do not ask e to download it as it will block ur mails. please do create awareness about the same to ur near and dear ones at home in saligao so that all might come and see the plan. an exact date for the gram sabha regading the RP wil be intimated later. i request ALL. even gaonkars from outside the village to come see the plan and atttened the gram sabha regards Ashley Roads 1)Both main District roads ( MDR) to be maintained at present breath as it cannot be expanded furthur in most places. Only in certain areas where viable it will be extended. By proposing 12 meter roads for MDR. We ensure that NO development of any kind can be done from 6 meters from center of the road. It DOES not mean the road will be developed to a full carpet area of 12 meters. 2)6 meter Roads and 5 meter roads include shoulder of 1 meter pathways and drainage on either side and carpet area of remaining meters. Therefore an existing road like the St anne's chappel to peggy's corner road which is shown as 6 meters will NOT be extended further but is only provisioned for drainage and footpath on either side. 3)2 and 3 meter roads are actual carpet area and DO NOT include provision for footpaths. Only some where shown have drainage. Settlement 1)All areas marked as proposed settlement in those areas where it is overlapping with slopes HAVE to be resurveyed before permission is given for settlement. 2)As fields CANNOT be converted to settlement, Illegal constructions/ Filling in these fields are not shown. 3)All Communidade bhands in the village have been proposed to be repaired and brought to their original width and in areas where possible, only 2 meters access to provide for easy access to mechanized farming like tractors. 4)We are Keeping proposed VP 2 Status for saligao which gives people a maximum built up area of 60 FAR. -- Linux - You must break it | Windows - It breaks itself Devine Computers Abreovaddo, Saligao, Bardez, Goa.
