Adarsh rout Nerul HERALD CORRESPONDENT CALANGUTE, March 23 Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Saligao trounced Nerul Sports Club 3-0 in the inaugural match of Nagoa-Arpora-Baga Panchayat Cup soccer organized by Nagoa Sporting Club at Arpora ground. In a fast paced encounter, it was Nerul who started the match with a bang and could opened their account but their forwards were wayward. Adarsh led 1-0 at the break. Adarsh too kept pace with Nerul and off a counter-move in the 11th minute Francis’ shot hit the crossbar and came back into play. Adarsh, however, disputed the decision of the lineman. Adarsh finally managed to break the deadlock in the 15th minute off a beautiful move from Mahendra which was converted by Francis Down by a goal, Nerul tried their best to come on level terms with Adarsh but they failed to score. Adarsh slammed in two more goals through Avelino and Francis to take the game away from Nerul.
