Albert, thanks for the information. On 19th itself when I called Fiona, she
mentioned that Rosette was sick, so she must have passed away same day.

As youngsters, we used to meet Rosette every day in Lourdes Convent & then in
the evenings again we used to meet since that "bandar" was our usual path.
Rosette & parents were usually in their balcony wishing all who passed by &
very often we spent more than 10 minutes chatting since Rosette's mum was
always happy to talk.

& yes, Rico, you are right, when this Cordeiro family returned to Goa from
Africa they built their house & painted it a cheerful colour. I think vanilla
& maroon - hence your memories of icecream.

Once again, I extend my condolences to the family of Rosette & pray for the
eternal repose of her soul.

Annette

Dear Annette

Rosette Cordeiro daughter of Romauld and Natty Cordeiro and sister of Joe and
Jenett expired on the 19th December and burried at colvale today. She was sick
for sometime but I do not know what sickness she had. She was married in
colvale to Philip de Silva and had many children I think six or seven.
