Hi SaligaoNetters
Albert seems to have been left behind......Around the time Albert was taking part in Dramas etc. on a large scale, I think our Saligao journalists were at the initial stage of their career or perhaps had not even started..... Albert, I do remember hearing about the Competition at Kala Academy from Fiona (after all Emy is from Donvaddo). Recall that Francis Lobo also used to take part but didnt know of his "win". & last but not least, yep - do recall that you staged a drama but didnt recall the place/city nor the CD. Sorry to say but I've not been very much interested in CD's or dramas. However, I do remember touching on this topic on meeting you (LIC meeting???) during one of my visits to Goa. Albert, Congratulations! - better late than never! A word in your ear, Albert...... let Francis Ribeiro, Daniel or Rico know about your next Tiatr, they are the ones to give you recognition ..... just a word in their ears!!! & thanks!......I have now learnt one more Konkani expression - it is more descriptive & sounds more colourful than the English one! Emy Sequeira and Francis Lobo from saligao were able to get prizes for their best acting. This is indeed a great pride to see our saligaonkars shine in tiatr field but our so called journalist did not find time to write a review on this .They could have posted a photograph of these two prize winners on the leading newspapers in Goa. I won the second prize for tiatr script competition organised by the Goa academy .Many people in saligao did not even k ow about this. I stage my tiatr in london. and a CD of the tiatr was done. how many of you in saligao know about it ? there is a saying in konkani " Keldem apli xhembddi tamddi monn dakoita and that is exactly what has happened to me. I myself is praising myself. Albert de souza Invest your money wisely post Budget Sign up now. -- This message comes via the Google Groups "Saligao-Net" group.
