That's true. I've always thought it was a good place to begin writing local 
history. 

I did a series of photos on Velim cemetery last year:

to visit Velim a few days back, and was fascinated by the "stories in stone" 
visible at the graveyard. In fact, every Goan village has such a story waiting 
to be told, of different languages, the changing times, Catholic migration, 
early deaths, prominent figures.
