Hey Rico, Hey M&M & all SaligaoNetters,

Glad to note that some of us are in agreement with this way of increasing our
Konkani vocabulary, maintaining solidarity as Goenkars aside from being
Saliganvkars! Cant vouch for the rest of the Netters of course - would not
presume nor predict - ...hick!

Ok M&M! I second that - the word a day "project" .... better late than never
eh? Rico has been kind enough to continue - we have reached the "E" - I miss
reading my late grandmother's Konkani newspaper (with her help I learnt Konkani
even though I knew zit at the beginning - Africanders & all that blah as you
would have known it but no excuse anyway) - I have forgotten the name of the
paper as I am talking about the 1960's & 1970's but it sounded like Vaddancho
Ixtt or something like that. I bet Daniel can enlighten us!

Oh & M&M, please dont under estimate yourselves & ourselves - we are all doing
quite well with our Mothertongue (despite not having a formal education let
alone MoI........kudos?)...not as well as Daniel & others of course...no
comparison eh?

Why? isnt this what we have to do with regard to our mothertongue & isnt it the
underlying reason for the word a day project? .... increase our vocabulary &
multiply with regard to the number of "existing" Saliganvkars & Goenkars
"knowing" or "learning" the mothertongue? Hmm!

Jeez! again the PS1!
I do not believe that one needs to apologise for having an opinion & airing
it! At the risk of repeating myself, each has a right to his/her opinion....
one can agree to disagree anytime.

Well at least one good thing came of this PS of yours.... my vocabulary
increased!!! But these silly smileys arent working for you nor for me. grrh! A
click & they flash on screen but are off just as quickly - something wrong
somewhere. oh oh, they are back! Great! I was sort of wondering if God did
make me a bit dumb when it came to modern technology!

Another PS2???

"Activist" eh? I pounced on this word as it takes me back to the Bahrain as
was 3 months ago with very active activists having their "say" & "do".... to
the detriment of most of us.

ok ok! seems you like the PS in threes - noted too! The "asun" is with an
"n"? thought it was with an "m"...... as noted in the copy book of proxy
grandson...... Daniel, need your help please........

But still confused anyway, what need of PS when subject matter could be
included in original mail?

Ciao
Annette
