had filed a similar RTI in july, after going to appeal and subsequent
three hearings! finally the panchayat gave a cryptic one line reply
saying that since the work was not tendered by them the details were not
avaliable and told me to go to another dept (the address is with me
somewhere) to get the same details.
about the mud dumping - i put them on the mat - they replied saying that
they ahd issued a notice - but as it was the 3rd hearing already and
they couldnt give me a copy - it has gone to the 2nd appalate athority -
the RTI is still on.lets see now

Act (Central Act 22 of 2005):
* Date by which the building of the new Saligao market is expected to be
completed.
* Name of contractor(s) assigned to undertake the work.
* Estimated cost of the work, with details.
* Number of shops, offices to be constructed.
* Basis on which the shops are to be allocated for use.
* Existing persons running shops in the existing market, as of May 2011.
* Where the debris (extra mud, concrete and waste material) from the old market
complex is currently dumped?
* How will this waste material be disposed?
I am herewith paying the application fee (Rs 10) by way of affixed court fee
stamp. If you are of the view that the above requested information does not
pertain to your department, then please follow the provisions of Section 6(3)
of the RTI Act 2005.
Also, as per the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, kindly provide the details
(including name and designation) of the first appellate authority w.r.t. your
reply to the above request, before whom I may, if required, file my first
appeal.
