Our good old Aaiiee-Ghe (Mirabai) is no more. May her good Soul rest in Peace. Frankly, never knew her Real name until recently.
Another person belonging to the special Category Of our Villagers is gone. Kind Hearted and Ever smiling, She always made friendly conversation with all. Malice towards none. A motherly person to many of us youngsters then. Met her this time when down in Jan. She rarely ventured out of her House though. In the good old days when many of us were regular S.I. Club goers stopping by at her little Window was a must. There was exchange of news and messages kept too. After a few games of Badminton She would sometimes kindly offer us a cuppa tea or as much water we needed to quench our thirsts. Lovely person indeed.
