Sonarbhat was abuzz this afternoon following the untimely death of
Peter (the postman), in what was apparently a Sao Joao-related death
at the vaddo pond. Peter was well known in the village, having
encountered hundreds of villagers on his daily rounds each day for the
past many years. Diogo informed me that the body has since been taken
for post-mortem (being an accidental drowing case). Condolences to the
