Dear Fr. Nascimento,
It is with profound grief that i came to know about Peter's death through my
nephew Clifford Gomes and my wife Rina Cordeiro on the day of Saint Joao itself
but couldn't condole you earlier as i had a very tight schedule these days. I
do not find words to explain my grief as it's hard to believe about his death.
On behalf of my family and my mother Lucy Cordeiro please accept our deepest
condolence on this sad occasion and do convey to his wife as well.
Infact i was on a short vacation recently in Goa and met him couple of times
in the first two weeks of the current month and also told him i would see him
back again by mid October but never thought this would be the last.
This reminds me of the good times we used to have especially during Saint
Joao Xacutti party we had the same evening.
Peter was always fun to watch for these parties. He loved to wet Carma on
this day while he tried to jump in her well.............
Death is a journey for the departed soul and also a journey for those who
have lost a valuable possession.
Let us pray for his journey abode so that his soul rests in peace.
I also pray to God to give you and his family members the fortitude to face
this tragedy and move on with life.
