Very good initiative by Eknath. We all need to suuport the same. Could we have the names and contact numbers of the Garbage Core Committee and the Ward Level Committees?

Dear Saligaokaram, Besides announcing it in the village schools, Eknath has printed a little intimation slip and poster to be given to each house and put up on the public notice boards, respectively (see attachments). Of course it will depend on how motivated members of the Garbage Committee are to do the house-to-house distribution. But the posters are definitely going up on the Official Notice Boards of the Panchayat that Eknath has erected at strategic points in the village. Volunteers will also display the posters in local shops and other public places. Short of actually being the actual 'town crier', this guy certainly means business when it comes to getting the message across to every villager. He cannot physically visit each village house. Now it all depends on how much the rest of us can take it to the grassroots. Go for it...shall we?! Warm regards and solidarity.
