It exposes the weakness of our corner meetings - that people who are the perpetrators of the crime need to attend first!!!. (photo attached - person was too far to get clear pic) It must be noted here, that for the last 2 weeks, I have been facing a sudden spurt in garbage being disposed right outside my house from a few "neighbours" and "well-wishers" who inspite of repeated requests have continued to spoil the beauty of saligao with a blatant respect for the law. both the bags mentioned here have been thrown in front of signboards from the panchayat that say " Dumping garbage is strictly prohibited in this area. for violation of this, action will be taken" So far not only has garbage been dumped in front of my garage, but now I have also been getting threats from the villagers. I have been taking and am continuing to take photo's; and I am publishing this particular photograph as I am at the moment at my wits end on the issue that has been making me a target of attacks. these people seem to have been mis-informed of what I have done for the village and what I am continuously trying to do.
