A child education begins at the lap of one's mother. My mother gave me basic education. It was not ABC but education of values. The remaining I learnt in Lourdes Convent. We had really good teachers. While we had sister Veronica who was really loving and caring. Then sister Livinia who was strict but loving and dedicated teacher. Sister Olga (collette) , and sister Irene because of whom I am able to write properly and where ever I go they always say " your handwriting is very good. Credit should go to her because she used to catch my hand and make me write. Very patient teacher. We were influenced by sister Ubaldine. She never taught us but her presence in the school was necessary. Among the lay teachers I still remember teacher Ninette, teacher Cecilia, Teacher Rose Mascarenhas , My second part of education was at Monte de Gurim Fr.Efrem , Fr. Fortunatus, Bro,Salvador, etc influenced my life and made me what I am today. So in short the teachers in both the school had so much that without them I would not have been what I am today. I owe my gratitude to the sisters , fathers, and lay teachers of both the schools. I can write volumes on this topic but time is short. Thank you my teachers. Some of them are dead and gone . Albert
