Dear all: We in Saligao have long lived with our power failures. But now something new seems to have started....
Each evening, around 8.30 pm, our power suddenly fails. It sometimes comes back fast (4-5 minutes), but most of the time takes 20-30 minutes to get switched on again. This does seem like a power-cut! What I'd like to know is: * Are powercuts being implemented in Saligao? * If so, how often? * Are these implemented in other areas of Goa? * Do village and town/tourism areas face the same level of power cuts? * If not, why should villagers be discriminated against? Do we pay lesser bills?
