Thanks for this input, Ashely. I'd like to check if this is the problem. But on the other hand, (i) my modem is on the UPS (ii) I do reset locally and check (iii) the modem has been working fine till 2-3 months ago... and people like Sanjeev Trivedi have reported similar issues.
Have also heard about new offers from BSNL (rate wise, higher speed... which is not intimated directly to customers but announced via adverts). Do you know something about that?
