An X'mas party was held on December 28 at noon for senior citizens among Saligaokars. This was sponsored by a well wisher from Abu Dhabi. The St.Vincent de Paul (SVP Saligao) headed by Nanda and others did a great job in organizing this event, which included games housie and prizes for the lonely as well as SVP members.
Refreshments, snacks and a nice lunch was served after a sing song of Christmas carols by the SVP choir. Christmas presents were distributed. Some of the elderly from both the homes for senior citizens in Saligao were in attendance. It was a fun day for them. The SVP has thanked everyone who made this possible, including the sponsor from Abu Dhabi, the President and Secretary of the Saligao Institute, for permitting them to have a little fun time..... thus making their Xmas a merry one too.
