I regularly read the e-mails on various issues concerning Saligao on the Saligaonet website and appreciate your unwavering efforts towards the welfare of the Saligao residents sometimes even under the most difficult circumstances. I would like to take this opportunity to raise an issue, which I feel the residents of Saligao would be happy to avail of. For those employed outside Goa or abroad, the annual vacation is usually restricted to a week or two weeks or a month. Although one tries to attend to the usual house repairs or maintenance work, it is not always possible to complete it during the vacation period. Because of time constraints, exorbitant sums are paid for petty jobs or work left incomplete as there is no help or assistance available to continue in one’s absence. If you are aware of any reliable and competent individuals or teams in Saligao that carry out masonry work, house repairs or external property maintenance work at reasonable market prices, please provide the names and contact numbers on the Saligaonet website.
