Same here! Shocked....As shocked as the rest of you on hearing the sad news yesterday of the untimely demise of Dr. Cuncolienkar. We in Saligao have lost a good & helpful person & a good Dr.!....too early! We pray for the repose of his soul.
Our condolences to his family whom we have known for years now. & yes Rico; Dr. has been a "smiling feature" of our village since long, whether at his clinic or on the roads of Saligao; and at Mapusa at his Eye Clinic where he did a minor operation on my eye years ago, so far no recurrence - all in all a good doctor. He has even entertained my "worried" calls on his mobile late evenings. & of course made a number of house calls at our place in Donvaddo. He will be sorely missed by us all! May his soul rest in peace. Cant believe Dr. went so suddenly! always thought of him as healthy, fit & robust (considering that he would be in his 70's as per my calculation) & he seemed to be trim even when I visited him in January this year for a minor ailment, besides his other good characteristics that I got to know about through the many years my family, Luwell & I have been seeing him & also visiting him for medical advice & diagnosis. Guess God knows best! Dr. Cuncolienkar had a good sense of humour which probably got some of his patients on the right track. ...especially the stressful ones like myself. Have been in touch with Ajay once only but I did get news of him in January when I enquired with his Dad. I just remember the children from their childhood. Ajay, please accept my condolences. Our condolences to the entire family.
