jackets. However I endorse the Idea of Identity cards being given to them.
Eknath Or majorie D'sa, can you post the bank account number of clean
saligao on the list, so that people can give their donations? on second
thoughts, It is best that people hand over cash or cheque to these 2
directly, so that a proper receipt can be given (as they have indicated)
and accountability is maintained.

Yesterday, at the comunidade meeting, I was told that there was an
incident involving the laborer employed by the clean saligao Team.
The Laborer was going about doing his "thankless" job of Picking up
plastic on saturday, when he was accosted by two youth from the
village ( I failed to get their names). these two youth gave him a
trashing, let out the air from his cycle tyres, and even threw away

dressed in bright orange reflective colors, and is instantly
noticeable. I cannot understand why this opposition.
he is doing a fantastic job and works in the heat of the day. I have
stopped to give him a glass of water to quench his thirst. have had
a conversation with this guy and I can confirm that he is a decent
man just earning his daily bread. He needs to be encouraged instead
of being shunned like these 2 youth.
Next time you see him around - please stop and have a kind word with
him!, Offer him a cool drink. Strike up a conversation - these
people are Human and not animals
