Let me just say this : were it not for the reading table @ SI where often met , the generosity of Edwin Saldanha and National Geographic collection etc and my Dad's admirable daily fix of all that the Navhind Times etc offered ;it might have been a vastly different nature v/s nurture story;) Salute to them all and apologies to many others of the day ;who were gracious enough to allow us access to their books ; in a pre Web ;even , phone or even pre electricity in some cases Saligao of yore .
