*Stray & Pet Dogs Bite!!*

Dear Saligaonkar,
My Son was Bitten by Sheela My neighbours pet dog Pluto 18/7/2014 as my
son cycled back home from School Bus Stop at 2.40 Pm .The Dog leapt upon
him n bit him multiple times on his fore arm (not to severely but bitten
,blood teeth indention, grazes, etc )
Sheela cannot locate Pluto’s vaccination card!!
Said I cld check with Vet Dr Naik . he has it !! I did check . He doesnt !!
After a week said shed made a new one!!
So Doctors advise we need to give Dhruva 5 Anti- rabies shots + 1 Tetanus
shot . Of course Dhruva is unwell , fevered , in pain & his normal routine
of study n play is impaired. In case we were 100% sure of Plutos
vaccination we’d have to Give Dhruva only 1 anti rabies shot+1 Tetanus .
Dhurva's last & 5th Rabies shot was in between his term exams n he is
fevered n pulled down.
Sheela & her teenage son continue to walk the streets with 3 unleashed dogs
making quite a pack!!
I am enroute to Police station to file a police complaint , now finally,
after my son being bitten by her dog n 3 futile requests post that to
leash her pets as she walks them ..
*APPEAL*
1. “Leash” pet dogs securely as Your Pet dog may be super loving to “You”
but May attack “Others” whom the DOG !! considers as Strangers .
2. If you have adopted “Stray Street dogs” or “Stray Street dogs” have
adopted your House n encircle your House gate , sit outside on the road
next to your house . Pls call on ANIMAL RESUCE GOA /WELFARE For ANIMALS
