I an saddened by the death of both Amrut and Ramesh. They were a daily part of
my child hood in the village. We used to gather around playing marbles, beos,
gill danda and lobio, They were always there to greet me when I showed up in
their neighborhood and Ramesh would identify me by my voice in the dark. I am
glad I met them when I went for my dad's funeral last March. Rest in peace Dear
Amrut and Ramesh. I will miss seeing you both when I return to the village.

Who doesnt & wouldnt remember the brothers.....usually had more conversations
with Ramesh of course. Yeh they will be missed on that Arrarim Road since our
feet took us there through the years when we lived in Saligao & even now on a

Amrut ( who used to drive a taxi before ) expired last week after a brief
illness .Then on Sunday his brother Ramesh ( he worked for the Institute in the
early and mid-eighties ) and now was suffering from Diabetes expired on Sunday
and was cremated yesterday .
