Of course, as a boy then, I as obliged to leave the school after Std VI (not that I was particularly naughty, but just on gender grounds). So I didn't encounter Sr. Adelaide in school and must have myself left around 1974-75 to go to Britto's, then a school which most of the boys from Saligao passed out (sic!) from. Our classmates (Class of 1979) were here students, I'm sure. If anyone has more details, please add.
