On sunday there were no lights for the entire day ( 7 to 5 ) and we thought that they were fixing the problem electronic gadgets , fridges ( and their contents ) and even computers are affected by these fluctuations . Whats the use of fixing modern LED street- lights on electric poles when we cannot even get proper electricity ? Its a big problem especially when one has old people in the house . Last night there were sparks and a loud blast from our transformer ( which needs to be changed urgently ) after registering a complaint to 1912 let me say that they were quick to respond as the problem was rectified before midnight .and I was also sent a complaint number by SMS . I hope this problem will be rectified before the monsoons
